What is Saint Luke Renaissance-Greenview Place?
Saint Luke Renaissance SLF (Supportive Living Facility) is the natural follow-up to Renaissance Saint Luke (RSL), located at 1501 West Belmont. It is designed to provide supportive living for residents who want to remain independent but need a little help with routine daily activities - housekeeping, cooking, dressing, driving, etc. - but who do not require the more extensive and expensive services of skilled care.
Why This Project?
This project is the result of a joint effort between The Renaissance Companies and Saint Luke Church, which has been located in the heart of Lake View since 1884. The Church is firmly entrenched in the community and is fervently dedicated to providing our seniors with affordable, quality supportive housing. Combined with RSL, our independent living project one block south on Belmont, this new development will allow our Lake View neighbors - indeed all Chicagoans - to make an easier transition as time goes on, staying as independent as possible, while remaining in the neighborhood and continuing to enjoy the delights of Lake View.

What services are provided?
The building is home to 107 residents and employs a staff of 25-30 spread over three shifts. Amenities include breakfast bar, lunch and dinner prepared in the gourmet kitchen, as well as social activities, TV lounge, library, computer room, social services and much more.
Who provides the services?
Personal services are provided by the Lutheran Life Communities of Arlington Heights, a well-known and award-winning firm specializing in senior housing and services. Social Services will be provided by a joint venture between Renaissance Social Services, Inc. (RSSI) and Saint Luke Church. RSSI was founded in 1994 to provide supportive services to Renaissance developments and is now a completely independent 501(c)3 dedicated to providing supportive services to multi-family housing projects.
What does it cost?
Rates are determined by the resident's income. 80% of the units are available to those whose incomes fall at or below 60% of the Annual Median Income. 20% of the units are offered at Market Rate with no income restriction. Call for an interview and tour (773-525-1501).
